RESIDENCES

Creating a second home for travelers in and out of the country is usually a mix of daring and adventure usually not in keeping with a  primary residence. The owners wanted to be anonymous, naming their suite more like a hotel room in Shanghai. Complete with custom wallpaper derived from antique Chinese gift wrapping paper, dragons from old billboards and silk upholstery not often used because of its fragility, the look was undeniably bold. The over-all feeling of the space was a lively Asian inspired festival. All of the interior doors were eventually taken out, so that company was able to mingle and sit anywhere during the many soirees that took place in the suite.
